Fubarino contest entrances are starting to roll in at a quicker rate. If you’re working on one you only have a few hours left! Submissions are due before 12:00am Pacific Time! This bit of motivation is a two-fer. Both entrances made a decision to utilize Morse Code to spell out the Hackaday URL.

First up, [Tariq] is getting into electronic style since his friend’s 8-year-old kid [Yago] is truly thinking about math as well as Science. The gadget he was working on is a bit portable Morse Code message flasher (don’t miss part 2). The concept is that [Yago] can bring it around as well as pretend it’s a spy gadget consisting of a trick message. It may also be considering that your typical Joe most likely wouldn’t notice the irregular flashing as well as if they did they wouldn’t be able to decode it without some help. The gadget is developed around an ATtiny85. usually it screens a Christmas greeting for [Yago]. however at the end of the cycle, or at power-up, it flashes the Hackaday URL at an extreme rate. Can any individual really decode this without putting it on a logic analyzer?

The second using is in the type of a blinky Christmas tree. [Jim] developed the Arduino-compatible ornament for the holidays. It does a fantastic task of flashing a lot of different patterns, as well as it wasn’t as well much work for him to make it flash the URL.
